This song sounds like an acoustic version of Deep Purple rooted in Balkan's 7/8 time-signature. The organ solo is performed by Nikolay Angarev.

The title Shadowlands is taken from the film about C S Lewis with the same title. Here referring to living a low profile when one settles in a new country.
